Integrating photos into your sales process is an easy way to not only optimize customer communication but also enhance your estimate process by using them for remote measurements and personalized agreements.

1. Take a shot of problem/damaged areas on the outside of the home that you can reference in your estimate and during your presentation.
By capturing photos of where you see problem areas that could arise during a project, you not only ensure that you include those repairs in your estimate but also it gives you insight into where you can have potential upsell opportunities.
There is nothing worse than getting back to your office and realizing you’ve either misplaced a measurement or are unsure of which part of the project your notes are referencing. By snapping a quick photo with the tape measurement’s start and end, you ensure you have the most accurate measurements.
Bonus Tip: Make the homeowner part of the process. Send the homeowner a link via text and have them quickly capture any photos you didn't capture while on the property. Sometimes everyday construction terminology can fall flat when it comes to your customers. Use your photos to draw and label certain components of the project that could be confusing to the owner so they’re clear of where everything will be placed.
5. Show where objects might go during a remodel - for example, where a new light might go in relation to a window
Work through design plans using photos instead of blueprints! This gives the client a more realistic picture of what you’re picturing and allows them to provide feedback so you can both ensure that they get exactly what they want out of the project. This will lead to better reviews and ultimately more closed deals!
